Why GovTTI, Muvattupuzha ?
The teacher education and training system of Kerala is a multi-layered activity and is distributed at multiple levels in the administrative mechanism. Yet, when reviewed in whole, the entire system appears to be fractured and 84 Journal of All India Association for Educational Research fragments located in different departments. Kerala has had long and rich experience of interventions in school and teacher education over the last 25 years.
With about a century long experience in the teacher education and training system the Government Teacher Education Institute (GovTTI) Muvattupuzha created a considerable manpower in the Kerala’s education domain.
